Pickering's Baby Grand
About this room
Large ground floor music room, with 1930's baby grand piano, plus mic and vocal/guitar Mackie amp, Yamaha electro acoustic guitar, couple of acoustic guitars, ukulele, cajon and hand percussion. There's loads of sheet music too, if you're looking for inspiration. It's a lovely quiet room, with off street free parking (a rare treat in Brighton!) and a comfy sofa. I'm about 10 minutes from the station in an Uber, or 20 mins from the city centre by bus. If I'm at home there will be tea, coffee etc on offer, as well as access to the loo. Unfortunately there will no be access to the main house if I'm not at home.

Room rules
No smoking. If you use any sheet music from the well-stocked shelves, please return it. Regrettably, if I'm not at home there is no kitchen or toilet access.

In short, this is the sort of room every musician should have if they could afford their own house. :) Highly recommended as a creative space and for any rehearsal with no drums - not least because, unlike most other rehearsal rooms, it's clean! Tried the piano quickly and it has a nice short action, very nice instrument. Singers can use the provided Mackie mini speaker.
