About this room
Practice, teaching and rehearsals in Nave of church (includes use of Weinbach grand piano) £15 per hour. Concerts and events in Nave of church without use of Refectory and Kitchen (includes use of Weinbach grand piano) £15 per hour. Concerts and events in Nave of church with use of Refectory and Kitchen (includes use of Weinbach grand piano) £25 per hour. Both church area and refectory are in regular use for music practice by individuals and groups. Sometimes we agree a monthly fee to come and go whenever the Refectory is not otherwise in use, sometimes we charge by the session. Some of our visiting musicians offer lessons. Prospective pupils and indeed music teachers are invited to enquire. An Edinburgh Fringe venue (Venue 197). *Please note that for practice and teaching activities, the piano might not always setup in the centre as in the photos.

Room rules
Providing church services is our main purpose, and so we reserve the right to cancel hired sessions if the premises are required for church use, for a funeral for instance, when as much notice as possible will be given. Any pre-payment will be refunded. A very nice quiet and cosy environment in which to play and practice on a grand piano. Good easy action, nicely in tune and an all round very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!
